WellingtonAuckland- Genderbridge – is a trans, community organisation providing support to transgender/gender diverse people, their whānau and friends throughout Aotearoa. Has monthly socials in central Auckland. Meet other trans people and be part of your community.
- Rainbow Youth – umbrella group
for queer youth in Auckland. Have various queer youth groups in
Auckland, and a group for “gender diverse” youth which is listed
separately below.
- Trans on Campus
is a group of trans people at the University of Auckland. They are a
social group and are also trying to improve conditions for trans people
at UoA. They have a secret facebook group.
- Equasian is a social group in Auckland for LGBTIQ Asian people. They meet every month and have a facebook group.
- Star* is a group for “gender diverse” young people (age 13-27) in Auckland. They have a Facebook group and meetings every week.

- InsideOUT – works to make Aotearoa a safer place for young people of diverse genders and sexualities.
- Community Law – provides legal help. Some community law centres have staff or volunteers who specialize in LGBTI issues so call as see if one is available in your area.
- Gender Minorities Aotearoa – cross-cultural resources and information for gender diverse people
- Tauranga Pryde is a support group for queer and trans youth an Tauranga. They meet twice a month and have a facebook group.
- Whanga-Reinbow is a support group for queer and trans youth in Whangarei. They have a facebook group and fortnightly meetings.
- WaQuY is a group for queer youth in Hamilton that meets every week.
- QCentral is a group for queer and trans youth (13-24) in Rotorua.
- Closet Space Whanganui is a youth group for LGBTQ* youth age 12-24. They have weekly meetings and a facebook group.
- PFLAG PN – a support group for LGBTI people and their families and friends in Palmerston North.
- Q-Youth is an organisation for queer young people in Nelson. They have a couple of support groups including one, Gender Queery, for discussions about gender identity. This group meets monthly. Q-Youth also has a facebook group.
- Q-topia is a social support network for queer youth in Christchurch. They have weekly meetings and a website.
- Alphabet Soup is a group for queer and questioning 12-18 year olds in Dunedin. They meet every week.
- Same difference is a queer youth network for people under 20 in Dunedin. They have casual monthly meetings as well as facilitated sessions.
- E14E-Everyone for Equality is a social and support group for LGBTQI youth (10-24) in Invercargill.
